CJ Carus, P.E.

The owner of Conflux Engineering, Mr. Carus has over 14 years of experience working in the engineering field, and has been serving clients in the Capital District (and beyond) since 2012.

His expertise includes mechanical, plumbing, and fire protection design with a focus on building services including HVAC, exhaust, domestic water, natural gas, and sprinkler systems.  In addition to this, Mr. Carus possesses first-hand experience working with industrial and R&D clients, assisting them with laboratory layouts, process gas design, hazardous chemical code review, etc.

Mr. Carus is a 2008 graduate of Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in Troy, NY, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering & Aeronautical Engineering.  He has been licensed as a Professional Engineer in the State of New York since June 2015, and founded Conflux Engineering August 2019.
